1st Virtual Meet-Up Recap

The first VFU International Virtual Meet-Up was a great success!! With 12 participants and myself as the host, we had a engaging and inspiring session. The energy in the room (even virtually!) was incredible, and it was amazing to see so many women coming together to support each other at our first event.

A Thank You

A special thank you to Jeannette Häsler, VFU Board of Director, for opening the event and setting the tone for a meaningful discussion. VFU has been an incredible platform for female entrepreneurs in Switzerland, and it was great to see this new English-speaking community come to life.

Key Moments from Our Session

We started with a self-reflection exercise, where everyone took a moment to look back on 2024. It was inspiring to hear about the accomplishments that made each of us proud, the lessons we learned, and the big goals we’re setting for 2025.

Then, we dived into three powerful insights to make this year truly transformational:

• Clarity Creates Momentum – The more clearly we define what we want, the easier it becomes to take action.
• Mindset Over Mechanics – Our beliefs shape our reality. Shifting from doubt to possibility makes all the difference.
• Small, Consistent Actions Lead to Big Changes – Success isn’t about one big breakthrough but about showing up daily with small steps toward our goals.

The breakout room discussions were a real highlight. It was so enriching to exchange ideas in small groups, hear different perspectives, and support each other with practical advice. Whether it was refining a business goal, overcoming mindset blocks, or figuring out the next step, the conversations were full of insights and encouragement.

Time flew by, and before we knew it, the hour was up! We wrapped up with a big group share, where some participants reflected on their biggest takeaways and next steps.

Keeping the Connection Alive

One of the best parts of this meet-up was the sense of connection. And we don’t want it to end here!

• We’re continuing the conversation in the VFU English Community WhatsApp Group – a space to exchange ideas, insights, and support.
• The VFU Market Place is open for sharing services, offers, and collaboration opportunities.
• We’ll keep everyone updated via email with future events and ways to stay engaged.
